Wellness

A generalized exam that leaves no paw unturned. It’s a comprehensive evaluation that begins with the nose and ends with the tail. We also discuss the importance of heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. We strive to make an accurate diagnosis and ensure the optimal health of your companion.

Vaccines

There’s a thin line between love and hate. Vaccines are one of the most discussed topics in human and animal medicine. Are they necessary? Absolutely! Vaccinations help prevent life-threatening diseases in our pets. The frequency and number of vaccines recommended, however, depend on your pet’s age, environment, and even social life. These factors determine what your companion needs to be safe. Allow me to help you navigate as we build a plan that is essential for your fur baby.

Behavioral Medicine

Do you feel some kind of way about how your pet acts at the vet, in public, around guests, or even in the car? Fear Free has been a hot topic over the past few years, and more and more veterinary clinics are transitioning over to this better way of handling animals and assessing behavior. Personal space is extremely important, and we have to be cognizant of that when we are trying to make an experience comfortable, stress-free, and safe. One key factor that eliminates anxiety and stress is the fact that home visits can make pets feel less threatened and fearful. As a fear-free certified Veterinarian, I pledge to be patient, kind, and respectful of your pet’s space. Let’s work together to find a solution to making your companion feel at ease with the vet and also behave in a manner that is comfortable for you.

Dermatology

Skin is the ultimate barrier that protects the body from outside pathogens. More importantly, good-looking skin gives one a sense of bold confidence. The same applies to your pets. It’s important to maintain a balanced diet, bathe appropriately, and take advantage of choice supplements to give your animals the shiny coat every pet owner strives for. When your pet is battling hair loss, itchy skin, hot spots, or worse, these recurrent issues can be frustrating, especially when allergies and underlying disease processes play a role. However, walking down the street with fur looking so lavish and sleek is possible. Allow me to guide you in the right direction that will leave your neighbors asking you what products your pets use.

Internal Medicine & Diagnostics

It’s what’s inside that counts. Although, at times, we wish animals could talk. We rely on a series of different techniques and diagnostic tests to challenge internal organs. In turn, we receive feedback on how to manage diseases and help cure illnesses and prevent diseases. How the body functions internally plays an intricate role in how we maintain overall well-being. It’s important to know your pet’s state of health. What they can’t tell us is their body will.

Hospice Care

It’s unfortunate that terminal illnesses exist and can be incurable. However, we strive to make your pet’s life comfortable as possible until we reach the moment of transition. We firmly believe that attending to the emotional and physical needs of your companion near the end of life is a labor of love. Allow us to focus on prioritizing comfort and quality of life by reducing pain and suffering.

Euthanasia

A loss of a companion is never easy, but we are here to make the transition as peaceful and heartfelt as possible. So many different emotions during such a sensitive time can make it difficult to make a decision. No animal should suffer in order to fulfill one’s personal attachment. Let us help you make such a toilsome process as comfortable and pain-free as possible.

Online Pharmacy & Telemedicine

An easy way to get medications and food sent directly to your home. Some things can be fixed with a simple phone call. However, there will be a fee for phone consultation. A credit/debit card will need to be on file in order to receive a Telemedicine consultation. We would like to be of service in any way possible and understand that a visit may not be feasible. Pending the situation, we will make the proper recommendation that benefits your companion the most.

Yappy Hour

A once-a-month pop-up shop that gives owners a chance to get their pets checked and vaccinated. Specific day TBD. If your week doesn’t allow you the opportunity to take your pet to the vet, this experience is just for you. Detailed information will be posted via social media.
